There once was this good ole' country boy from Tennessee who was real good at limirics. His friends encouraged him to enter a limiric contest at their county fair. Well, he did.
After a few matches he found himself in the finals against a college professor. Their final limiric topic was Tinbuctu.
They drew straws and the professor went first. His limiric is as follows: "Across the burning desert sands, traveled a lonely caravan. Riding camels two by two, destination... Tinbuctu." Well, the crowd went wild, they thought for sure he would win. The country buy stood up and said "I got ya beat." He said, "Tim and me a huntin' went, found three girls in our tent.
They was three and we was two, so I bucked one and Tim bucked two." |
